  Proudfoot US was commissioned to install a strategic procurement organization at Sprint Canada (CallNet) in Toronto. I was seconded to Canada for the full duration of the project where I developed and installed a performance measurement system for the Strategic Procurement Division. I consolidated group-wide expenditure, assigned vendors' targets and instituted continuous tracking mechanisms to monitor price and process improvements within their PeopleSoft system.

  I led various projects in Telecommunications, Financial Services and Government. My most notable achievement was the successful implementation of the Long Run Incremental Costing solution at Telkom as part of a regulatory requirement to prepare for the entrance of the second network operator into the market. It was highly complex and strategically critical in that we were instrumental in the setting of new price floors and ceilings for the telecommunications industry in SA.

  I project managed the Jali Commission of Enquiry into Bank Charges, Payment Cards and the National Payments System. Absa utilized the expertise of external legal economists, lawyers and communications companies as well as drew input from all divisions within the Absa Group, which I coordinated, controlled and reported on to the Absa Board.I project managed the integration and centralization of the Personal Bank Sales Business Unit for Group Business Change Enablement.   Senior Manager

  Together with five other senior managers appointed into the new structure, we set up the business unit of ~n200 staff to manage the customer experience value chain. I led a team of business analysts, testing specialists and quality controllers in the measurement and management of customer experience for MTN SA (consumer and enterprise). We developed an automated network and process analytics tool and were instrumental in the redesign of the CEX framework for the MTN Group.
