  -Wolf Bay Bridge–Permits and preliminary design of a new high-rise bridge over Wolf Bay. The bridge will consist of AASHTO Type III and BT-72 concrete girders as well as steel plate girders over the main channel. The main bents are designed for vessel impact.-McWright Ferry Bridge – Design of new bridge over North River. The bridge will consist of steel plate girders and BT-63 prestressed girders with a concrete deck and multi-column concrete bents. Design of super and substructure were done in accordance with AASHTO LRFD Design Specifications.-Jack Warner Railroad Bridges–Engineer for the replacement of two timber trestle train bridges. Both bridges are to be steel girder bridges supported by concrete bents. Preliminary bridge options have been proposed to client due to confining space requirements.-Earhart/Causeway Interchange–Inspected and rated existing bridges using the new LRFR method. Designed rehabilitation plans for updating existing bridges to meet rating criteria. Designed new reinforced concrete approaches, slabs, girders, pile bents, hammerhead bents, multi-column bents, and footings for the expansion of the new interchange.-Bob Petit and Claycut Bridges–Performed geometric layout and complete design of two replacement bridges consisting of concrete slab spans on pile bents.-Peters Road Bridge Extension– Engineer for final bridge design services for a new fixed, high level bridge across the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. Designed reinforced concrete approaches, slabs, pile bents, hammerhead bents, and footings.-LA-1 Bridge Inspection–Inspected and documented condition of existing concrete bridge structure, pavement markings, signage, and intersection approaches.-Jefferson Ave Canal II–Design and coordination of a 5,000 foot long box culvert and equalizer box culvert built under Jefferson Ave and Prytania St.-Xavier Pedestrian Bridge–Coordinated design of prefabricated pedestrian bridge for Xavier University over Metairie Outfall Canal.   Began as Board Member of the Louisiana Chapter and worked up to Secretary, Treasurer, then President. I organize and run the Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference and Show as a board member. President of the ACI Louisiana Chapter. This involved balancing budgets and people. We started an international fellowship for students and opened a new student chapter in Lafayette. We host and judge an awards competition and banquet. We organize 5 certifications a year and 10 lunch-and-learns for engineers and contractors to attend. We also brought a concrete lab experiment into grade schools to expose children to the concrete industry.
