    • National University of Ireland, Galway

      Jan 2017 - now

I was involved in various organisations and societies whilst doing my undergraduate course. I undertook an internship with ALIVE in 2011 and participated in the Mature Students Society as Treasurer from 2010-2012 and as Travel Committee officer from 2012-2013. Furthermore, I volunteered with several organisations such as Cancer Care West, Meningitus Ireland, ISPCC, Lakeview School for students with learning disabilities and continued working with the elderly in my community. In addition, I launched and co-ordinated an Art Exhibition at Lakeview School to raise much needed funds. This task involved working with each student to create pieces of art, to source pieces that were donated and to provide a platform for each student to show his or her piece and ultimately to sell it. Other work done was to work with a group of students throughout the year in a Shared/paired reading program. Finally, I prepared three autistic students for their First Holy Communion through the medium of art.My degree is in History and Sociology and Political Science with Children Studies. Show less
