      Student researcher with the goal of completing a master's design project.A visual acuity test was designed to create an objective screening method and eliminate falsified results, or the need for behavioral responses.Hardware was assembled by combining TI’s DLP projection technology, a projector screen, and 3D printed parts. The test was designed using customized stimuli to evoke visual potentials and analyze EEG data. Results were obtained by comparing visual evoked potential power to the power of background noise in the EEG for statistical significance. The device was validated by comparing test results to lens diopter correction in subjects. Show less

      Performed testing on spinal cord injury (SCI) and healthy control subjects by recording EMG and kinematic activity for gait analysis of lower limb muscle groups. Developed and conducted therapy programs for SCI subjects using a Zero-G gravity system while monitoring vitals, walking speeds, distance of walking, and setting overall performance goals. Assisted in data management and processing of kinematic and EMG data using Vicon and Spike software. Development of a thesis to analyze physiological measurements of spasticity for SCI patients; abstract has been accepted to be presented at the Society for Neuroscience National Conference (SFN).
