  He took his M.A. degree in French Literature from Karnataka University, Dharwad, and a diploma in Education from the University of Franche Compte, Besancon, France.He taught the French Language at St. Joseph's College, Bangalore for 27 years. He has been been a member of the Curriculum Designing Committees of Bangalore University and the Pre-University Board of Karnataka. He was instrumental in setting up the Internal Quality Assurance Cell in St. Joseph's College, Bangalore, and was its Member Secretary from October 2000 to June 2002.I took early retirement from my work as the Head of the Department of French at St. Joseph's College, Bangalore and founded Bangalore Hypnosis Institute.   At Bangalore Hypnosis Institute, we have three levels of certification programmes in Hypnosis. They are: Level 1: Hypnosis Practitioner Certification, Level 2: Hypnosis Master Practitioner certification and Level 3: Clinical Hypnotherapy. The programme is based on Modern Hypnosis which is more scientific and neuroscience-based. Hypnosis is a state of mind which is physically relaxed, mentally alert and totally focused. Most people treat Hypnosis as a sleepy or unconscious state of mind where they sit down for a limited period of time with someone to passively solving their problems. This is a mistaken idea about hypnosis. According to the modern understanding of Hypnosis, 'Every Hypnosis is Self-hypnosis’. Only you can access your subconscious mind. The therapist only guides you to access your own subconscious mind and communicate with it to make the changes you want. Hypnosis is the best tool to access and alter your subconscious mind which is in total control of the self 24 x 7. It can initiate and accelerate personal change, and enhance the response and behaviour of people in their life and work situations. No matter what you do, you can do it well and elicit more intense responses from people. Modern Hypnosis will allow you to do whatever you do and have a greater impact on it.Hypnosis addresses the mind-created problems such as the lack of emotional choice, anxiety, fear & phobia, and a negative way of thinking and processing information. It can be used effectively to de-stress people, free them from unwanted habits, addictions, past traumatic experiences such as sexual abuse, rape, unloving parents, shock, and other unhappy events that pop up now and again in your mind making your work, life and relationship miserable.
