  As part of the integration team for the newly acquired Danish subsidiary, I was responsible for annual budget and monthly rolling forecast of profit & loss (P&L) and cash flow. My main focus was to ensure the financial processes of the subsidiary were integrated into SPX's global reporting system and to develop forecast models for P&L and cash flow to improve forecasting accuracy. In order to develop effective forecast models, I worked closely with the commercial team, engineers and accounting experts to understand the revenue recognition mechanism of the large projects that were accounted for under the percentage-of-completion (POC) method. I took active part in the business' process transformation from excel based modelling to system based forecasting through Oracle Hyperion Planning implementation project.Special assignment: I undertook a 8 months assignment as a senior auditor in SPX internal audit Europe. My main responsibilities include audit planning, auditing of revenue recognition of POC projects, audit report preparation and presentation to site management. I participated in audit engagements in subsidiaries in Denmark, UK, Poland, Italy, France and Hungary. Vis mindre I was responsible for SPX's global consolidation process from subsidiaries at over 30 countries. I controlled balance sheet accounts including investment in subsidiaries, equity, currency translation adjustments, and ensured SPX's acquisition and divestiture activities are presented correctly in the consolidated financial statement. I developed in-depth skills in financial consolidation using Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). In this role, I worked with a broad range of contacts within SPX Global finance community. My main responsibilities included preparing monthly consolidated management reports, preparing quarterly release presentations, performing peer group analysis and conducting ad-hoc analysis for the CFO office. • Corporate Accounting (Charlotte, North Carolina). During this rotation I performed analysis during SPX's acquisition of APV and participated in on-site balance sheet reviews in SPX Canada and SPX China. • Test & Measurement Segment Finance (Detroit, Michigan). In this rotation I worked closely with the Segment FP&A manager in monthly reporting and analysis and developed business understanding of the segment. I completed a Lean project to improve month end close process. • Flow Segment Finance (Delavan, Wisconsin). I worked closely with the cost controller in the manufacturing plant to understand the fundamentals of cost accounting and inventory management. I worked closely with the finance managers at NN DK and foreign production sites (US, China, France and Brazil) to set financial targets and to make an annual budget of 5 billion DKK.
