For the former, I wrote two articles: one where I studied the conflict over natural resources between the Burmese Army and the insurgency groups in Northeast Myanmar, and a second article where I addressed the relationship between far right terrorism and social media. CRB provides non-partisan, confidential policy research services to the Governor, to both houses of the Legislature, and to other Constitutional Officers. My duties and achievements were:• Received the Cal-in-Sacramento Fellowship, by the Robert T. Matsui Center for Politics & Public Service, to intern for 8 weeks in Sacramento, CA• Collaborated with the research team (13 colleagues in total) to ensure promptly responds to confidential requests and deadlines from the Governor’s Office and the Legislature• Engaged and succeeded on the California Strategic Growth Council’s request about racial equity capacity building: they decided to make it public due to its high quality• Implemented key time-management skills in a high-demand setting, accomplishing efficiently all the tasks• Participated in ten meetings and workshops with the Public Policy Institute of California, the Legislative Analyst’s Office, the Department of Finance, and the Government Alliance on Race and Equity• Learned to explore the California Archives to obtain primary sources and to use LexisNexis for legal research Show less
