  Working in EHS department, I lead and participated in multiple projects related to environmental, industrial hygiene, health, and safety. - Successfully investigated and resolved an issue with the resin sump flowmeter, which was preventing accurate reporting of OCPSF loading. This resulted in improved efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.- Verified the air flow rate of laboratory slot hoods to ensure compliance with regulatory limits. This prevented potential fines and ensured the safety of employees.- Led and participated in EHS campaigns to raise awareness of heat stress index and personal protective equipment.- Participated in a formal noise level survey conducted every 4 years. This helped to identify areas where noise levels were too high and to take steps to reduce noise exposure.- Led an initiative to label all pipes on site to meet site standards and increase the efficiency of contractors. - Participated in Operation Clean Sweep, an initiative to raise awareness of waste plastic in plant effluent.   As part of Asset Engineering Department, I am assigned to Polymers unit in YANPET, looking after all rotating equipments and supporting operation and maintenance departments:- Led and conducted failure investigations, resulting in the development of action plans that have prevented the recurrence of costly equipment failures.- Reviewed and validated equipment maintenance strategies, resulting in significant cost savings.- Created required scope of work for major planned shutdowns related to rotating equipment.- Led execution and quality assurance of planned repair activity at site, ensuring that repairs were completed on time and within budget.- Nominated to represent polymer plant as part of SABIC Digitization initiative, working to improve plant efficiency and productivity through the use of digital technologies.- Successfully led the planning and execution of a major repair of a pellet drying machine, which resulted in savings of over $3.5 million in maintenance and operation costs.- Successfully implemented a creative solution to prevent a sump pump from dry running, which saved the company over $300,000 per year in maintenance costs.
