      •Manage all Benefits Administration projects, including initiation, comprehensive planning and strategy, execution, monitoring, budget, communications and follow-up. This includes but not limited to special events, administration of benefit options, internal process and workflow improvements, HR business application initiatives and strategic goal setting.•Provide HR and university administration with written and oral feedback and expert knowledge on strategic initiatives affecting Benefits Administration.•Administer University leave programs and policy.•Analyze leave report data to find data inaccuracy and assist with cost-saving analysis.•Monitor compliance to all University leave policies to ensure they are meeting federal, state and higher education policies.•Provide HR functional knowledge and team leadership for business application initiatives involving benefits administration and time and leave. Show less •Provide Human Resources functional and team leadership for the MyTime Leave System including development, updating, testing, communications, etc.•Serve as functional liaison with technical staff including developers, database administrators and the MAP User Support group, providing an HR functional knowledge base related to specific business applications.•Identify and research problems as well as develop, test, implement solutions. Create documentation and training as needed.•Support institution users with use of the WVU MyTime Leave System, problem-solving, documenting, researching and coordinating solutions, testing, and communications with ATS.•Manage all aspects of leave processing.•Monitor compliance to all University leave policies to ensure they are meeting federal, state and higher education policies and procedures.•Review WVU policies and procedures and provide recommendations and guidance.•Draft new employee leave and benefits administration guidelines as needed.•Provide requested information on leave to HR, institution, or state of West Virginia.•Develop, maintain and provide reports for HR, Administration, or Business Units as requested.•Responsible for working with HR MAP users to critically identify areas where changes are needed in business processes.•Responsible to analyze business requirements of HR (Leave) and translate/document for technical solutions.•Responsible for the development and presentation of all leave communication plans and training.•Analyze, document and update current and new Benefits Administration processes and related forms to improve workflow, efficiency and promote cost-savings.•Research, write, edit, design, prepare and distribute oral and written University-wide and targeted communications for Benefits Administration in conjunction with the Senior Communications Specialist and University Relations, such as yearly benefits Open Enrollment.•Maintain Benefits Administration website Show less
