      Starting within the Sales and Customer relations department I was responsible for executing all sales, estimating and procurement functions.I was later promoted to key account manager, responsible for ensuring that all key account revenue is maximised and that customer service is kept to the highest standards.After serving as a key account manager, I was promoted to Sales Manager. During my time as a Sales Manager, I was responsible for managing all aspects of corporate sales, ensuring that all the sales representatives achieve their sales targets.Following Sales Manager, I was promoted to General Manager, where I was responsible for integrating and managing all organisational departments. Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for ensuring that all management reports are updated and submitted to exco.During my tenure as General Manager, I dealt with customers that entered business rescue proceedings. At the same time, the market declined and created the need for an internal business turnaround. Focusing on the informal business turnaround on board level, I was responsible for re-designing all business strategy (managerial, operational and financial), implementing and monitoring new strategies across all departments. The company dealt with the financial distress for one year until a decision was made to file for voluntary business rescue proceedings.During the Business Rescue Proceedings, I worked with the appointed Business Rescue Practitioner throughout the process, ensuring that all aspects of reasonable prospects is maintained. My colleague and I were requested to develop a business intervention strategy that could help the Board Of Directors manage financial distress and implement an informal turnaround strategy rather than filing for Business Rescue.
