In first and second year I took elective courses in Italian, Central and Eastern European Studies (CEES), and Theology. In my Honours years I specialised in modern history and completed an independent oral history interview project on the prison sector. My final dissertation received full marks as novel qualitative research on homelessness in the Second World War, re-evaluating the 'all in it together' narrative and pointing towards ingrained perspectives on poverty and homelessness.
