  Client: Qatar petroleum (QP)Project:EPIC of New Desalination Plant and Potable Water Storage Tanks at Halul Island1.Developing new WPS & PQR ‘s as and when required 2.Maintaining all WPS & PQR records on file and for ensuring that they are suitably indexed & registered. 3.Maintaining the records of the entire welder’s on file ensuring that they are suitably indexed & registered. 4.Ensuring that welder’s qualification certificates are endorsed in accordance with code requirements. 5.Constantly review welding production activities to see where it may be possible to improve productivity by means of using automatic /semi automatic welding processes. 6.Assisting with improving welding production whilst maintain the highest level of weld quality as laid down in the applicable codes and client specification. 8.Assisting & advising on all welding related matters in preparation of project tenders9.A. Monitors NDT results to determine defects, corrosion, mechanical damage, or blockages and makes recommendations for repairs or replacement as required.B. Performs all tests and inspections on Tanks that has been repaired or modified to assure that the plate fabrication meets the manufacturers and/or QP's specifications and Industry (ASME/API/AWS) code requirements.
