  A detailed study of generation of power by combined cycle power generation process by combusting natural gas with highly compressed air and then expanding the high heat and pressure produced on the gas turbine. Further, the waste flue gas is used to heat up the water in the boiler and using the steam produced to rotate the steam turbine. Power is transmitted by stepping up it through step up transformer and distributing it from switch yard to various sub stations.
