  Started working as an accounting clerk, posting account payables, working with customers and vendors. I was promoted to Production Trainee in 1983 where I learned about purchasing, scheduling corrugator and finishing equipment, operations of equipment and supervisory techniques. In 1985 my family and I relocated to a new production facility located in Sanger, Ca. I was promoted to Production Planner and Shipping Department Supervisor.

  In 1987 I left Western Kraft to relocate my family back to Northern Ca. I was hired as a Production Supervisor for Inland Container Corporation where I learned to operate, and supervise both corrugator and finishing department teams. I was very successful improving quality, reducing waste and improving production statistics on the 3rd shift in both departments.

  Met the challenge at Gaylord Container Corporation, Corrugated Container plant at Antioch, Ca. I helped to reduce waste from 17% to an industry standard of 5% over a 2 year time frame through a waste awarness program, increased productivity, implemented changes to personnel and procedures which resulted in a 5M turn around for this plant. Supervised Finishing, Corrugator and Shipping departments and also filled in as Plant Superintendent when the need arose.

  Started a company and hired as a consultant to The Brix Group to work on a JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Program design and implementation team. I learned how to set up Advanced Warehousing, Lisence Plating, Item set up,Transportation, Pick, Pack and Ship functions in the JD Edwards system as well as helping to design and implement the UPS interface. We launched the software on Dec. 13, 2010, went in "Hot" and will have to monitor the processes on a daily basis until all bugs are worked out.   American Wireless is a division of The Brix Group; a family owned business. The American Wireless division distributes cellular handsets and DISH Network equipment to agents who then sell the equipment at retail. There is also a division named Pana-Pacific, this company is a distributor of O.E.M. parts for the heavy truck industry, supplying many in cab products as well as add-ons for your truck. As Director of Operations and Logistics for the Wireless division I had many duties; I was a Stakeholder on the development / implementation team to launch JD Edwards ERP system, as well as Directing the activities of the Corporate and contracted DC's. I was involved with writing test scripts, processing, reporting and suggesting "fixes" for unsuccessful tests. I have written and published the "JD Edwards Operations" manual and trained all operations personnel on the new system. I am currently looking for a new postion that would utilize the skills I posses in the areas of IT, warehousing, transportation, organizational / personnel / project and process management, process design, implementation and improvement. During 2011, I have opened a new warehouse in Seattle and relocated our 3PL location in Dallas to a company controlled facility. Helped to re-build the RMA and reverse logistics portions of the JDE to make the returns processes more efficient & manageable. Relocated the Sacramento location into a new building last December, office & warehouse up and running, this was my last project with The Brix Group, as of March 1, 2013, I am searching for new employment.
