      My appointment to FOWSA – Proposed Western Sydney Airport--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I was recently appointed to the FOWSA (Forum on Western Sydney Airport) along with 21 other notable Australians.I was appointed by the Commonwealth (Federal) Minister for Urban Infrastructure, the Hon Paul Fletcher MP. This is an extreme honour to be selected and to represent Western Sydney. My career record in major infrastructure development and my years in public service stood me in good stead.FOWSA’s role is to provide the exchange of information and ideas between the airport operators, the community, governments, stakeholders.Federal Minister Paul Fletcher is the Chairman, and the group is led by an independent Chair – Professor Peter Shergold AC, the Chancellor of the Western Sydney University.I am truly honoured to be selected for this appointment and thank both my nominator Opp MP Hon Chris Bowen and the Minister Hon Paul Fletcher for their confidence in me.
