      Activities and Societies: Travel, Drama/ Performance, Art history. A small, American Accredited, liberal arts college in Lugano, Switzerland. Focus of my studies was International Relations. Travel and hands on experience were encouraged. A strong mission of learning is doing was built into the experience, both independently and scheduled into school calendar as "Academic Travel", a 17 day interval in which the entire school was divided by focus of study, into travel groups across Eastern and Western Europe, with professor- experts as guides.       Utilizing the Ainslee Acting approach, I teach rabbinical students how to present speeches, sermons, and communicate more effectively in a grounded, articulate, passionate, and engaging way. Over a seven or eight week period I teach a series of exercises designed to develop greater physical awareness, mental presence, communication, connection to the material, etc. and to develop speeches using the concept of "the need to tell"

      HB Productions provided 12 Broadway and former Rockette dancers for the launch of HP’s Touch Smart computer. The dancers were choreographed by Heather Berman and assisted by former Rockette Madeline Jaye. They performed a precision routine and also brought a giant touch screen computer to life. How to maneuver giant 4x5 ft placards in windy conditions was the challenge. Heather came up with a quick flipping action and the idea of using gloves to help facilitate the action. HB Productions was thrilled to be apart of an Antigravity Production and to join their amazing team for this exciting three day event in Times Square. Please click on the video to see all of the action. HB Productions to put together a Busby Berkley style routine for Marc Jacobs’ annual Holiday Gala. Heather Berman cast 16 former Rockettes and Broadway dancers to bring her vision to life. The event took place at the beautiful Rainbow Room. With its revolving stage, the choreography lent itself to this 1930’s style 6 1/2 minute routine. Incorporating feather boas into the choreography is an example of how she likes to leave her special imprint on a project. The dancers appeared in WWD - Women’s Wear Daily, noting them as a highlight of the evening. Show less

I felt like I was watching The Great Race or A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit has that same madcap feel to it. The choreography by Madeline Jaye was inventive and lively. Scenic Design by Craig Napoliello, lighting by Diane Duecker and costumes by Kimberley Windbiel are all first rate. Props are as basic as cardboard squares serving as bus windows and a one-dimensional taxi for driver and passengers to carry from one side of the stage to the other.
