  • Develop supply chain system for export part business from the ground up by creating forecast, ordering imported parts, monitoring lead time production, controlling finish goods delivery to fulfill export demand in monthly basis, to ensure 100% on schedule export demand delivery.• Plan & create forecast order for imported part based on Honda’s worldwide demand, by breaking down finish goods item demand into material requirement on a monthly basis.• Manage supplier’s production planning on time by creating and adjusting the delivery of the imported part schedule to meet each demand requirement in the next process.• Monitor & maintain material inventory levels in supplier’s warehouses to prevent downtime due to inventory shortage, by performing semiannual stock taking audit on each supplier.• Interpret market demand trend to avoid slow moving part as well as to anticipating any increasing demand in the upcoming months by managing long term forecast that are reflected from the sales plan.• Reduce slow moving part to avoid dead stock items at the end of product life cycle by adjusting order quantity to demand fulfillment each month. • Increase supplier’s inventory data accuracy by improving process of calculating inventories through segregating the data on each production area, such as finish goods storing area, Work In Process area, and material warehouse area.• Coordinate with cross-functional teams / departments to expedite the process of incoming imported parts until finish goods parts to fulfill Honda’s worldwide demand.• Collaborate with Honda’s overseas teams on a monthly basis to update forecast demand for export needs from each country. • Perform a monthly report to the Accounting department on each transaction related to the costing of each part that is being used for production and as a prerequisite of SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act) auditing compliance.
