  Research assistant

  I gained experience in structure and organization of laboratory researches of the university Centro Sanitario and Organic Chemistry. I got an insight into synthetizing novel heterocyclic molecules using organometallic catalysis starting from acyclic precursors. In addition, I obtained the possibility to test the biological activity of these molecules on several tumor lines.In the Organic Chemistry Lab I learnt how to obtain PdI2/KI catalyzed oxidative alkoxycarbonylation of substituted 2-(2-ethynyl-phenoxy) anilines through mechanistic study of action of PdI2 catalyst and approach of nucleophile towards triple bond and optimization of reaction conditions and synthesis of substituted 12-Oxa-5-azadibenzo [a,d] cyclo octen-6-one derivatives. After that, in the Centro Sanitario I learnt the basic rules to work with Cell Culture and also some biological assay such as MTT assay and the evaluation of protein expression by Western Blotting.
