  Radio technology and connectivity trends are showing large growth in the Internet of Thinks and Machine to Machine (M2M). The main needs for the connectivity and the device are:- Cheap: Modules can connect to LTE networks with low cost chips that are less expensive than custom LTE devices because they are half-duplex and have a narrower bandwidth.- Long live on the single battery: Devices can enter a several various power saving mode and wake up only periodically. The extra-long battery life is possible due to both module and the network special behavior. - Service Costs Less: Relatively low maximum data rate of LTE-M devices (>200 kbits/s), Do not occupy the LTE network as much.
