  While on exchange in the United States, I was struck by the passion and possibilities that student governments created on campus, and resolved to improve fellow undergraduates' welfare in NUS. Elected Council Representative for two constituencies. I was also elected Vice President of the Union for a one-year term. I initiated a data-driven approach to advocacy and worked with the university administration on complex problems hurting students apart from academics.
