    • L&Q

      Sept 2015 - Sept 2019

Since joining the Partnerships team I have worked on a number of complex schemes, working collaboratively with construction industry professionals to take schemes from acquisition, through to planning, and into delivery. Most recently I have been leading L&Q’s development partnership in Manchester. Here I have worked to deliver a number of schemes concurrently, whilst ensuring that that the team remains detail orientated and on target. In the past months I have been working with a Willmott Dixon, Homes England, and Trafford Housing Trust, on a complex new development. As a project with many stakeholders, I have found it critical to find innovative solutions that ensure that the scheme works for all those involved. In this role I have continued to develop my expertise in the acquisition of new developments, this has included the bid I lead to Homes England for the next phase of their Northstowe development. Both design quality and written submission were top scoring. Show less Since 2015 I have looked after L&Q’s 50% interest in Chobham Manor LLP; an 850 unit Joint Venture within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Whilst holding the business plan for the development I have also been working closely with the technical team, architects and consultants to resolve a number of design and planning issues, significantly reducing the development risk of the 3 future phases. I have also worked on a number of bids for new development sites. Most recently I lead L&Q’s bid to the Homes & Communities Agency to be a member of their Development Partner Panel. In the past months I also wrote L&Q’s successful bid to Argent Related, partnering with them on the first phase of their Brent Cross South regeneration. Additionally, I have written top scoring sections of a number of other bids, including L&Q’s successful bid to the GLA to regenerate Beam Park, the site of a former Ford Motor Company factory in Dagenham.
