  · The Quarter Scale Tractor Team is a Student Vehicle Design Competition that is Organized by ASABE. · We are tasked with building a ¼ scale Pulling Tractor from the ground up for the International A-Team and X-Team Competitions at the Caterpillar Headquarters. · Was the only Member of the X-Team that rebuilt and improved on the previous year's tractor to compete in the X-Team Competition. Did not compete because parts were salvaged to repair the A-Team Tractor.· Used Student shop equipment to manufacture components designed by Senior Team Members. · Operation of a Lathe, Band Saw, Shear, Break, Iron Worker, Drill Press, Welder, Plasma Table, 3D Printer and Mill.   · President for 2 Years· Responsibilities include Organizing Bi-monthly Meetings, Handling Chapter Affairs and Finances'· Lead the team that organized the 2020 ASABE Midwest Regional Rally at UW-Madison. The Midwest Regional Rally is an Annual Meeting of students that took place March 5-7, 2020. Students from Iowa State, UW-River Falls and Ohio State attended. Students spent Friday on four separate tours sorted by Major/Interest, Animal Environments, Food/Bioprocess, Natural Resources, and Machinery Systems. Saturday was spent touring the BSE Department and our many faculty research labs. It was a great experience and opportunity to network. Show less
