  I worked on synthesis of Oxide Dispersed Strengthened (ODS) steels which are used in nuclear applications. The process route for synthesis of ODS steels was powder metallurgy with addition of elements for retaining strength at higher temperatures.

  Research Internship

  I worked as a research intern here. I worked on the project : "Synthesis & characterization of Magnesium based Bulk Metallic Glasses (BMG's) by High Pressure Torsion (HPT) route." We chose to opt for the HPT route as well as an unique composition of the BMG as there was no previous work done before on the above area. It was a preliminary work which I completed for my master's thesis and it was very helpful to me in understanding the HPT route, it's complexities and the various characterization techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Overall, it was a very good experience for me to work here for 6 months. Show less

  I worked on SEM based measurements preformed on semiconductor devices features. As an Application engineer I work on specifically designed SEM tool which can measure nano-sized features on advanced semiconductor devices.
