  Working for the Associate Director Enterprise Applications within the Office of Information Technology, I am charged with researching and assessing third party applications, as well as project managing the application development process to ensure project outcomes align with the department’s and the academy’s goals and objectives. I am responsible for the project life cycle, from discovery and specification to the rollout of the product by facilitating testing, training and marketing materials (video, email, push). Show less As part of the Technology and Instructional Support team, my primary focus was working with faculty to prepare their online courses in Blackboard. I am a Blackboard Certified Trainer and along with that certification I kept abreast of the latest features of each upgrade and trained the community. As Intranet Manager I was responsible for managing the Blackboard application, coordinating upgrades and enhancements. Blackboard is used as our portal, as well as our Learning Management System.I worked alongside a developer to roll out applications based on the Lotus Domino platform for administrative duties instructors perform (attendance, isham reporting, house counselor and instructor reports, student alerts, etc.) . I was also a part of the Technology Support team assisting community members with software related support.   Manage a team of 8 supporting all aspects of technology for 7 buildings, 7,500 students, 1,200 staff in a public-school setting from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Oversee day-to-day operations of the District’s technology infrastructure consisting of building access control equipment, 9,000 Chromebooks, 6,800 iPads, 800 desktops, 300 projectors, 400 cameras, numerous printers/copiers, data centers and a wired and wireless network.
