      PIAC Commissioner:Served as PIAC Conference Commissioner, as Chair of the Executive Board I represented and carried out the philosophy of the PIAC. As the commissioner I reported to Executive Board, working as a collective with PIAC Members Schools to build a strong interscholastic athletic conference. PIAC served as the home of 13 schools, 19 athletic directors over 100 coaches over the tenure I held office.       The Coach Kirkling Classic is an annual tournament in memory of the Late O'Neil Kirkling. O'Neil Kirkling was a mentor, coach, pioneer and founder of athletic leagues and programs throughout North Carolina for over 25 years, who passed away in 2019. The Coach Kirkling Classic has a mission to provide a platform for North Carolina middle school basketball teams to compete against other middle schools in a competitive environment which promotes fair play, exposure, health & wellness, and social development. This is a one-day single elimination tournament event, features middle schools from around the state of North Carolina. The tournament concludes with Championship Games for both Girls & Boys Teams that advance. The Coach K Classic Tournament is held is each year in Durham, NC. Show less
