Specify practical tests required to verify theoretical calculations and arrange tests to establish levels produced by locomotive. Establish credible failure modes and ensure these are addressed in safety assessments. – Attend Safety Assessment Panel meetings to support safety assessments.– Produced several successful safety assessments including Crewe IEMD to allow multiple Class 92 operation on the depot. Authored interim and final railway safety reports that allowed the opening of the railway. Once the project became an Alliance my role was Level Crossing PM (July 2012 to Jan 2014) responsible for the successful delivery of the level crossing works and hand back to operation for phases 1 and 3. Post Alliance re-org meant role changed to Level Crossing Interface Manager (Jan 2014 to Nov 14) responsible for interfaces with the ORR, councils, NR RAM, RLCM and external risk assessment providers. The project is unique in that it encompasses 147 Level crossings along its 86 mile route with the installation of 23 MCB-OD as part of its scope.WCML A09 Line Speed Enhancements, OHLE and Track, Network Rail West Coast Enhancement team. During the secondment managed over 30 projects of different values and at different stages in their project life cycle.
