  Hospital Anaesthetic Scientific Officer:In this job, I have been doing Anesthesia for all surgeries from General Surgeries to Obstetrics and Gynecology, urology, ENT, Orthopaedic, Paediatrics and more. This includes all general anesthesia, Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA), Spinal /Different blocks and Ketamine/Sedation since 2010 without any consultant assistance (Anaesthesiology). In addition I did attend to acute and emergency problems with the Accident and Emergency Department, Pre medications and Anaesthetic evaluations before surgery and at times do ward rounds with Surgeons. I also do procurements ordering of Anaesthetic drugs, Intravenous fluids plus other consumables to be used in the operating theatre department and keeping stock of what has been used, basically meandering the operations of the operating theatre.   I did two jobs on shifts; 40 days at LNG Plant construction site with International SOS and 20 days at hospital with Nazarene Hospital. Doing two jobs on shifts I learnt a lot on Health Management and Administration.With much curiosity I am very passionate to discover more on key aspects of health management factors in the economy.PNG LNG Construction Site: In this job I worked in two main & two satellite clinics on LNG plant construction employing a multicultural workforce of over 12,000 individuals. Basically I do Occupational Health;( assessing their health status by doing Spirometry, Audiometry, Eye test, Optic , Blood sugar, Blood pressure check and their Body mass index and refer for medical review and issue of Certificate of Fitness for work), Pre Medical Employment; (Checking all medical examinations done with favourable results attached to qualify for work on site). Conducting Drug & Alcohol test plus testing and giving malaria Chemoprophylaxis, First Aid treatment referrals and safety walks, Stand by and Attend to Emergency & Accidents call outs, and also attend to general screening and referral for medical review.
