  I have collaborated on the preservation of architectural heritage of Haiti by Illustrating a repair guideline for Victorian Houses in Haiti (known as Gingerbread Houses of Haiti), surveying an architectural heritage site, and creating heritage site preservation plans with a senior restoration specialist.

  As a full time consultant at Group Trame, a local architecture and planning firm, I have collaborated with their local and international research teams to develop and implement a coastal protection plan as part of an urban development program for the Wharf Jeremy and Cite Soleil, a slum in the coast of Port-au-Prince. I have also developed the construction documents for two vocational public schools with metallic prefabricated structure, for rural areas of Haiti.

  As a project manager at J/P HRO, I coordinated the design phase of an $8.9 million redevelopment project to provide 55 housing units for families affected by the 2010 earthquake, improve infrastructures, create public spaces, and generate economic opportunities. I Led the construction project of a school for children with special needs by overseeing the construction and the supervision teams, managing a $450,000 budget, and reporting the progress to donors. I developed and implemented a strategic plan to improve solid waste management in impoverished neighborhoods through awareness campaigns, recycling solutions, startup ventures, and a public-private partnership. I have collaboratively planned and implemented a community engagement strategies for all the project managed, supervised the staff affected to the project, participated in the recruitment of consultants by developing RFP, evaluating proposals, and negotiating costs.   I have developed, as a consultant, the planning documents to transform two former refugee camps of the Metropolitan Area of Portau-Prince into public spaces, and conducted workshops with communities and municipal offices as part of the design process.
