  Women's Crew Coordinator

  Founded and ran the first All-Women Habitat for Humanity construction crew. Coordinated and trained over 300 women volunteers in basic construction techniques and use of power tools. Managed and coordinated all media, fundraising and events, to ensure the projects we built were fully funded. We built a duplex in Antioch for two families and renovated a burned house in Pittsburg, CA. Awarded Citizen of Achievement by the Mt Diablo League of Women Voters prior to becoming an officially naturalized US citizen. Show less

Led the organization to join the International Passive House Association (iPHA.) Expanded connections between North American organizations and global community interested in high performance buildings. Currently serving as an at-large International Passive House Ambassador. Developed a complete marketing package, including brochures, website, trade show booths and video media. Built and trained a 5-person sales team capable of covering the full North American market. Developed in-depth technical training on high performance building details for all product lines. Scheduled and hosted numerous workshops and events to establish Quantum Builders as nationally recognized leader in Passive House.Window specialist work included research and presentations to help architects optimize performance through design and installation of windows. I served as representative for Passive House California (PHCA) as the first Co-President of this Cooperative, alongside Ken Levenson of NYPH.org. The PHN originally formed as a resource-sharing portal for independent, regional Passive House organizations. We've evolved to offer core and advanced professional Passive House training across the continental USA, in addition to membership, advocacy and community support to a rapidly expanding group of chapters and regional affiliated orgs.
