  ***This position had a one year term.***Oversight of and scheduling for training for the Unitrans Route Training department, which consists of 30 trainers and 5-15 trainees a week. Responsible for hiring/training of trainers and release of newly trained drivers into solo service. Responsible for the safety of any and all passengers. Unitrans drivers prioritize safe driving, passenger comfort, and on-time performance. After sufficient experience in driving single-deck 40' buses, drivers are trained to operate Alexander Dennis double-deck buses and restored London RT double-decks.

RWD is a nonprofit volunteer-run organization that offers free summer literacy tutoring programs at libraries to students in need. As of June 2017, RWD has partner sites in Milpitas, Fremont, San Jose, and San Francisco public libraries.

  Worked on a total of two projects which include the examination of psychological and physiological effects of racial microaggressions on minorities. We studied the effects of microaggressions on college students. My team and I presented a scientific poster at 2015 American Psychological Association Convention in Toronto. My second project I worked on investigated the social validity of the Family Check-Up (FCU), an evidence-based parenting intervention by Asian American immigrant families. My duties as a Research Assistant include tabling at the local Farmer's Market and collecting survey data to determine whether Asian American immigrant parents and White parents differ in their perception of the significance, relevance, and appropriateness of the FCU in treating child behavioral problems. My team and I completed a poster presentation for the 2016 AAPA Convention in Denver. Show less
