      In this univerisity course I learned the basis of Chinese and Japanese languages both as a pure languages and as cultures that hide behind them. I also improved my English language skills thanks to lessons held by English native language professors. The principal activity of the course was to study everything referred to China, UK (and the other English native language countries) and Japan: language, culture, history and literature.

So, one of the principal activities I have experienced in this university course is to wear the shoes of a real interpreter and translator. As an interpreter, I put all my Chinese and English knowledge in "work situation" simulations where quick response and trying to ramain loyal to the original speech were the primary tasks. The same was for the translations in translating simulations, but the skills were differents: the quick response was replaced by a deep reflection about the text and, in addiction, I learned the best way to infuse the original message the author put in his/her books to the translator target audience.       Scholarship 北京华文学院 (Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College) Aug 2014 I spent a month in Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College thanks to the victory of a scholarship given me by the Confucius Institute of Turin. There, I had the opportunity to deeply study the Chinese language from Chinese native language teachers who held their lessons entirely in Chinese. In addiction, since I was in close contact with Chinese people everyday, I also had the opportunity to speak Chinese in every daily situation and to better understand Chinese culture.
