  SVGS is an advanced high school comprised of the brightest local juniors and seniors in STEM and Arts. All courses offered are either dual-enrollment or advanced placement, so the school functions similarly to pre-college. Over the two years, I developed working skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere/Audition, multiple coding languages, and Autodesk Inventor.

  I studied abroad in Barcelona during the Spring semester of my junior year. Although my time was cut short due to Covid-19, I developed a variety of key skills from my courses. These classes were Digital Advertising, Strategic Management, Marketing Research, Consumer Insights, Managing Services, and Cómo Negociar en el Mundo. Cómo Negociar was taught entirely in Spanish and consisted of learning about the different ways international business is conducted in the context of unique cultures. When do you bow and when do you shake hands? Perhaps ESADE's best quality is its diverse range of students. Many students travel internationally for ESADE's premier business education. Each course had a group project element and I was fortunate to learn from the perspectives of my Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Chilean, Mexican, Bolivian, German, British, Spanish, French, Italian, Norwegian, Swiss, and Ukrainian teammates.
