  Served as school elective team leader for two years in a row, collaborating with administration and the entire elective team of teachers on both the development of new curriculum ideas and the implementation of new teaching strategies in the classroom. I also became a mentor to new teachers on the team, assisting them with adapting to the requirements of their positions. Together with a fellow co-teacher, we took our school's Zero Robotics team to the international competition at NASA, where students were able to watch their ideas come alive, by seeing the code that they wrote control a robot. This meant that their robot was racing other teams robot's inside the international space station. This was a joint venture with MIT, DARPA, NASA, and the after school networks of numerous states. I was proud that our team won first place against so many other teams at an international level. Served as co-teacher for school's after school S.T.E.M. club.Increased the majority of my students' engagement in science and mathematics, through real world projects. I have grown revenue by over 300 percent with the help of my co-partner and a wonderful team of employees. We have grown from a team of 3 a team of 10, and I am proud to see my vision of growing our company begin to come to fruition. I created new revenue streams for the business, such as our homeschool support program and our STEM education classes that we go to local schools with. In partnering with local businesses and the community, we have generated new business and partnering opportunities. Additionally, I have worked to create a positive work atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable and appreciated for his or her hard work. I also help to manage job openings, recruit qualified individuals to fill any open positions, and provide any instructor retraining if it is needed. We also like to maintain our staff by reaffirming and rewarding them for maintaining high job quality performance, which is evident in the quality of their work. I have worked with my partner to develop rewards such as paid annual work trip/ conferences for high-performing employees with the owners, and monetary bonuses as incentives to reward excellent job performance.Other day to day responsibilities include tracking and logging expenses, preparing expense reports, managing payroll and running payroll reports, doing the bookkeeping for the company, doing all the day to day operational transactions for our business and building relationships with key industry insiders.
