  Customer Retention Area Manager

  I started my career at Protection One working in the monitoring center. I worked with phenomenal leaders that were able to invest in my development to be able to promote to a supervisor position. I cross trained for teams that helped the technicians with testing new installed systems, labeling zones and confirming new account information. After a few years, I transitioned to a billing team that was responsible for invoicing, statements and back end credits and cancellation processing. This was a great experience to learn a different side of the business and was instrumental with my expansion into Dallas, Texas area (started in Wichita, KS). I built new teams at the Irving, TX center to expand billing and back end support. I then promoted to a Unit manager position with a new Account Management (customer retention) team in the Irving center. The team grew from 20 employees to over 100. Collaboration with hiring recruiters, trainers, onboarding teams, human resources and resource desk teams was critical to building a successful unit and team, that I currently have the privilege of managing.
