Burton Borough School is dedicated to music and performing arts, with many of the school ensembles winning awards at both a national and international level. As a self-employed singing teacher, I coached one-to-one and group performing arts and singing lessons. As part of the lessons, we prepared for LCM musical theatre and Rockschool pop exams, as well as a host of concerts throughout the school year. I was responsible for a close-harmony choir of 25 singers, aged between 11 and 16, where I arranged the music and musically directed performances at venues up and down the country, as well as assisting the performing arts team with a yearly full-scale production.
