  Project Intern

  As a Project Intern at IIT Delhi under the mentorship of Professor Itendra Prasad Khatait, I was involved in a groundbreaking initiative to replicate the functionality of the Mars Rover. Our project featured a sophisticated setup with six motors on a rocker bogie mechanism, mirroring the complexity of the rover's design.My specific contributions included crafting the codebase for the rover's functionality on Arduino Mega 2560. I also developed a WebSocket server on ESP8266 and ESP32CAM, enabling seamless communication between the rover and external devices. This intricate system allowed us to control the rover via a React Native mobile app over a WiFi WebSocket server.Notably, I took charge of developing the React Native application, offering users an intuitive interface to control the rover's movements and operations. The app facilitated real-time communication with the rover, thanks to an RTSP server, providing a live feed from the onboard camera directly to the mobile application.This hands-on experience at the intersection of hardware and software not only deepened my understanding of robotics but also honed my skills in coding for embedded systems, WebSocket servers, and mobile app development.
