  Intern supporting the application development of threat intelligence and behavior analysis tools for the next-generation Internet (IPv6) and Internet of Things.Developed a Python application that downloads a robots.txt file from each of the Alexa one million to identify common and uncommon web crawlers along with directories used on these sites. The analysis resulted in the development of a unique new defensive tool for Internet facing websites.Participated in hands-on-training for best practices physical and cyber security and privacy. Hands-on technology training included: implementing patch management; intro to Linux; installation of a virtual desktop application (VirtualBox); intro to Cloud Services. Security and privacy hands-on training included: basics of password security; use of Tor onion router applications; configuring privacy on mobile devices and laptops; basics of Kali Linux and introduction to lock-picking.
