      My true passion with Ben & Jerry's started with connecting with community leaders and coordinating fundraising and awareness events to continue to build positive relations with the direct community. I had done dozens of fundraisers for school ranging from elementary to university and alumni events. Reached out to organizations to assist in planning, funding and executing events. Some of my favorites are listed below:The National Brain Tumor Society 5k/1k Kid’s Fun WalkFairfax Volunteer Fire Station #21 Kid’s Cancer Research Alzheimer’s Association Fairfax Nutrition Education Children’s Actor GuildFairfax Corner Events I negotiated contracts and planned arrangements for facilities and equipment while communicating customer needs for catered events. I focused on ensuring all logistics and requests could be met as close to detail as possible. Developed and maintained catering accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the catering process to create a clear foundation of business. Primarily my role was to ensure General Operations at the Fairfax, Virginia location. Managing store operations and staff daily. Monitoring labor expenses, marketing strategies and inventory levels in all areas and maintaining quality standards for the store (cleanliness and customer expectations). I trained staff to have extensive knowledge of store’s concepts and procedures with a focus on the customer experience. I provided constructive coaching and feedback to bridge the gaps in their abilities and held a low turn over for core staff positions. Ben & Jerry's is a wonderful company to work for, my experiences there where just amazing. I have met the Founders, Ben & Jerry themselves, their current CEO, Jostein Solheim, and many amazing individuals such as Andy Barker (Social Mission Director) and Stacey Stanczak (Regional Operations).
