Jun 1984 - Sept 1986Systems Programmer- Unix System Porting Engineer. I was a key member of a team who developed ICL's last workstation product. My role was focussed around the porting of the AT&T System V release 2 Unix to the platform.- Skills developed during this time were around analytical trouble shooting and more importantly my first foray into the “World of Quality”.

Sept 1986 - Apr 2010- Created a team of partner and industry focussed pre-sales technologists and an associated management structure.- Developed coverage and engagement strategy to support and drive a >$1.2B business model.- Responsibility for direction and development of the 100 strong practice, technology specialist community. - Established internal programmes to change conversations with customers, technology updates to bridge knowledge gaps and development of a regular programme of briefings to the external partner technical community.- Led the restructure of the UK technical community to reduce cost and deliver a new global gtm business model.- UK Board Member.
