  Central role to improve the uptake and engagement of the Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP) application within the Rolls-Royce Submarines business. On the route to Industrie X.0, manufacturing businesses must strive to migrate all of their manufacturing data into a central repository to maintain one version of the truth. This data can then be managed so that it is always ready at point of source, at the correct release status and up to date. Cultural change to migrate to new ways of working is the main blocker to utilising these systems, which this role aims to address. The role requires extensive knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter as a whole, with a specific focus on the Manufacturing Process Planner application. In order to increase engagement, a combination of reporting and analytics, business process mapping and communication with stakeholders at all levels is required, whilst also being a focal point for issues with the system which have been referred upwards for troubleshooting. The role requires a data and analytically focused approach, whilst maintaining a core manufacturing engineering base in order to implement solutions which are relevant to the users. Show less
