  During my internship at the Erdemir Group's Ereğli Iron and Steel Factory, I gained hands-on experience in various production processes and management techniques.Week 1: Collaborated with the Planning Teams to understand production planning, order management, and inventory control.Week 2: Delved into the practices and applications of Kanban and Total Quality Management, enhancing my knowledge of efficient production methodologies.Week 3: Received comprehensive on-site training on high furnaces, hot and cold rolling mills, pellet loading and unloading areas. I was introduced to the steel production process, slab production, and its preparatory stages.Remaining Weeks: Focused on the cold rolling mill, where I learned about the process of bringing steel plates to the desired thickness. I observed the cooling of the plates, the machinery used, and understood potential challenges and their resolutions during the cold rolling process.Throughout my internship, I had the privilege of working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, which allowed me to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application. This experience highlighted the significance of teamwork, effective communication, and time management in the industrial production process.In conclusion, my time at the Erdemir Group provided me with invaluable insights into the emphasis they place on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction in their production processes.
