  Under mitt skoleår på Metis VGS så oppsøkte jeg denne bedriften for å forbedre mine praktiske egenskaper innen IKT-faget, og jobbet her en dag i uken over en lengre periode.   Military Apprenticeship IT

  Here i worked as an IT Soldier for two years at the Norwegian Military Academy in Oslo, combining both the miltiary requirements and the IT-education which included a steep learning curve and a huge potential for learning. The first year of my contract was done parallely with the mandatory military service in Norway.My contract started up in Bardufoss, Northern Norway serving under Sambandsbataljonen where i recieved basic military training including physical training, weapons training, survival training and leadership training. A couple months later, i was to be deployed at the Norwegian Military Academy and to then get started with my IT-education while at the same time continue my military education.One year passed and i finished mandatory military service with satisfactory results, and the second year i got to 100 % focus on my IT-education.My tasks at The Norwegian Military Academy:- 1/2-line support for the cadets and employees (Via Hands-on, telephone, email, ticketsystem)- Daily maintenance of our network- Coursing in prevention of safety breaches- Training apprentices and new employees in general IT.- Setting up workstations, according to the recomended EHS in the Armed Forces- Local user administration of the entire Norwegian Defense University College- Project-cooperation with different IT-departmens in the Armed Forces- Maintenance and supporting the Military Simulator of the Norwegian Military AcademyUnder my contract i had the opportunity to attend multiple relevant courses such as Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco Switch Configuration and EHS Course (HMS-kurs) Vis mindre
