  I worked with JT Thorpe for the Tesoro refinery fluid catalytic cracker turnaround project by managing labor costs for JT Thorpe as well as gained experience on project engineering and management. I worked through calculations with project engineers and quantified results, received the same training as a new-hire project engineer, attended daily and weekly meetings, and monitored the progress of the turnaround project.

  Project Manager of Medtronic Smoke Analysis System Senior CAPSTONE Design Team

  I managed and worked with a team of 6 throughout a yearlong project designing, manufacturing, and testing a smoke analysis system to provide Medtronic a device that can quantify the smoke generated from electrosurgical devices. My team and I worked through multiple designs, prototyped, tested, and conducted design iterations to optimize SAS. My role as project manager of the team enabled me to practiced task, team, and individual management skills, conflict resolution skills, and technical writing. Show less

  Artist Assistant

  While working with Trey I had the opportunity to help with numerous projects in the Spring of 2019. For the art piece "To Occupy a Single Space" I sealed the paper medium to prevent the ink lines from smudging or damage, preparing it for framing and display. I helped create a chaotic pendulum piece, "Untitled Pendulums", by laser cutting the acrylic pendulum parts within the dimensions of the mounting brackets and bearings. With the piece "Sediment Tanks", I finished the rough cut edges in preparation for display. In my time with Trey I helped with gala preparations, display tear downs, and cleaning up after a gallery opening. Show less

  While working with Folsom Skis I have helped build custom skis by helping construct wood cores, core layups, pressing graphics to the top sheet through a process of dye sublimation, constructing the bottom layers, constructing fiber layups, and helping tune, wax, and package the final products.
