      Bachelor thesis on “Process Optimization for Electrochemical Furan Oxidation” in Nobel Laureate Ben Feringa’s research group. ➤ Electrosynthesis to methoxylate the biomass platform chemical furan. ➤ Investigation of optimal operation parameters. ➤ For future scale-up, a substitution for the noble metal platinum electrode was found. The resulting product is a precursor for aldehyde synthesis from renewable resources.
