  In this position I was in charge of the operation and minor maintenance of SAGD driven well pads. This included emulsion sampling, working alongside engineering to improve efficiency and executing tasks when needed, as well as working with drilling and service rigs on pump changes or re-drills. Was responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the steam and utilities plant. This included multiple OTSG’s and two co-generation units. Daily activities included water sampling and testing; troubleshooting pumps, motors, and compressors and working with equipment used in the gas sweetening process.

  Panel Operator for Sunshine Oilsands 5000 BOE/D West Ells SAGD plant. This includes two, 7 MW cogeneration units, 8 well pairs and a Water Evaporator unit. Perform daily analysis of process trains, water quality and chemical numbers. Maintain crew compliance with company objectives. Utilize Delta V DCS control system. Contributed to the safe start up of a SAGD plant and the associated field. Operating various types of equipment such as IGF’s, ORF’s, VRU’s and multiple process streams to treat oil and clean water.
