      Scott M. Bryant, P.E. is a Fire Protection Engineer with over 21 years of experience in fire protection design, code consulting, and research and development. He has an extensive background in providing fire protection engineering and consulting services across various industries, including aviation, commercial sectors, government, oil & gas, and power utility.Mr. Bryant currently holds the position of President at Fire & Risk Alliance, LLC (FRA), where he is dedicated to expanding the growth of the company and business operations. His work is focused on business expansion and helping FRA’s clients with unique challenges. FRA excels in advancing the science of fire and suppression technologies to ensure fire department safety and engineering design and Mr. Bryant is key to that advancement.Mr. Bryant's expertise lies in prescriptive code and performance-based approaches to hazard identification, specification, and design of fire protection systems. Throughout his career, he has been involved in both small and large-scale fire testing projects. These include new product development and market research, live fire testing and evaluation for the US Navy, providing guidance in the product listing process, and studying the effects of fire suppression on fire dynamics due to changes in elevation above sea level.Mr. Bryant holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.E. in Fire Protection Engineering from The University of Maryland, College Park. He is licensed as a Fire Protection Engineer in multiple states, including Illinois, Maryland, New York, and Virginia.
