Jun 2011 - Jul 2011LandscaperWorking for Patriot Construction allowed me option of a summer job. By working for Patriot, it allowed me to experience what a job includes. Such as getting up every morning and going to work, and working with customers to understand what their needs are and how to fulfill them. The project I had during the summer was renovating the entire landscape of the homeowners. We ended up building a 25 foot retaining wall and planted trees and bushes in the front of the house. In the back yard, we landscaped around their deck and fence line to add more color. May 2012 - Nov 2013I transferred my position at Autohaus of Peoria from the Lot Attended to a team member in our BDC department. I made this decision due to the fact that the BDC will allow me to expand my experiences. While in the BDC, I was able to learn more about automotive services, helping customers with appointments or issues they may have had and selling cars. Although I am not a full time sales representative, I had the pleasure of selling cars on my own and helping customers pick out their next vehicle. I would have to check in the new cars that would come off of the transporter trucks. There was a lot of responsibility with this job due to the fact that I worked one on one with the sales team and management to make sure all vehicles were delivered on time and had gas in them for test drives. I worked 40-48 hours a week with this job over the summer and became part time when I was finishing up my Senior year of High School.
