      Completed a short observational study at GeneSys Biologics Pvt Ltd, a company that develops biosimilars, from April to May 2016. The internship involved a detailed study of upstream processing and downstream processing, the quality control tests that are done, to observe in person all the different instruments used and the tests done, and also learn about some of the management aspects of the fermentation industry – quality assurance and the regulatory affairs.

      Interned at a microbrewery in Hyderabad, Telangana (India) called "The Hoppery" for a period of 3 months from July, 2019 up to October, 2019. This has helped gain practical experience regarding multiple aspects of brewing beer including learning about different styles of beer and their recipes, fermenter operation, pump operation and maintenance, keg washing equipment, boilers, mashing and boiling kettles and other relevant equipment. Studies about different types of malts and hops used and how they affect the flavor and body of the brew, including different types of yeast and their functions for different styles of beer were also done.       Worked as a junior brewer at Over the Moon Brew Company in Hyderabad. Involved in microbrewery operations such as brewing the beer, quality analysis and assurance of brewed beer, as well as brewhouse management - cleaning and maintenance of fermenters, storage tanks, chillers, and other equipment.Worked on events including brew workshops, collaboration brews, and special recipe brews as part of the brewhouse team. Little experience of customer interaction and feedback as well.
