  Accountable for Compliance across the Transgrid Group. I revised and rolled out an updated Corporate Compliance Management Framework focusing on a risk based obligation management and assurance approach.I led the relationship with key electrical, safety and licence regulators in NSW, Victoria and the ACT and relevant Commonwealth agencies . I was accountable for the organisations compliance with critical obligations, including the National Electricity Rules, FIRB approvals, SoCI and Transmission licences / jurisdictional electrical safety regulations in NSW, the ACT and Victoria.I provided reporting and advice directly to Transgrid's Executive and Board Committees on compliance performance, risks, issues and regulatory changes. I led the change process in the business to meet the new requirements associated AER's revision of the Transmission Ring-fencing Guideline in 2022. Show less Responsible for the stewardship and continual improvement of all aspects of Transgrid's ISO 55001 Certified Asset Management System to deliver the best value for the business. My team had a specific focus on Asset Strategy development, continual improvement and Asset Standards that are fit for purpose. Role also included management of Transgrid's Electricity Network Safety Management System to meet the requirements of Network Safety Regulations and AS 5577 and other network related compliance obligations in NSW /ACT. I led the development and ongoing compliance of an Electrical Safety Management Scheme, Bushfire Mitigation Plan and Electric Line Clearance Management Plan to met Energy Safe Victoria's requirements for Transgrid / Lumea's Victorian transmission network.Key achievements were:> Led the achievement of Asset Management Excellence Awards from the Asset Management (AM) Council for five consecutive years from 2017 in the areas of Safety, Innovation, Asset information, Environmental and Diversity > In 2021 Transgrid was recognised with a Gold Award for Organisational Maturity in Asset management by the AM Council. This required a week long review by independent reviewers against the AMC maturity model > In 2022 Transgrid was awarded the Founders Plate by the AM Council. This award recognises sustained and significant improvement in Asset Management over a long period and had not been awarded for more than seven year previously. Show less Led the initial certification of Transgrid’s Asset Management System (AMS) to ISO 55001 in 2014 Responsible for the management of a small team of specialists to deliver Network Performance Reporting for internal and external stakeholders, TransGrid's Physical Security Policy and Risk Assessments and improvements in Asset Management Systems and processes. Key achievements were the development of fully compliant ISO 55001 Asset Management and Electricity Network Safety Management Systems to meet new NSW and ACT transmission licence requirements post Transgrid's 99 year lease transaction. These include Transmission Line construction projects, Greenfield and Brown field Substation projects, Microwave and Optical fibre system developments and Power System Protection and Control UpgradesKey achievements were the completion of estimates worth over $900 million to support TransGrid's 2009-2014 Revenue Proposal and the development and implementation of a new estimating methodology and system.
