  - Responsible for new programs piloting and scaling; a role that has grown from being Kenya specific to launching in Uganda and most recently in Nigeria. - Since joining, has management a program portfolio worth over USD 5M and kicking off implementation of a Malaria scale up program worth USD 9M- I have lead the team that has grown our reimbursement program from working with 20 pharmacies and clinics in Western Kenya only, to now working with over 370 pharmacies and clinics in Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria; Grown our patient reach from 7K patients in 2020 to over 130K patients in 2022- I was the main operations lead from Maisha Meds supporting an RCT study in collaboration with University of California, Berkeley testing the factors that contribute to patient and provider behavior change on Malaria case management- I worked closely with KEMRI on a study to test feasibility of pharmacy based COVID-19 testing, being the main relationship lead from Maisha Meds- I was invited as a thought leader (leveraging technology) to present at the 2022 Annual ISACA conference on “Leveraging technology to support universal healthcare access at the last mile”- On a day to day basis, I am responsible for the following, just to name a few: - Leading operations for our core reimbursement programs - Overall ownership of our reimbursement programs KPIs across countries - Leading engagements with our product management and tech teams to support product development and iteration (front end and back end products) - Supporting executive leadership in refining organizational processes, policies, the people agenda among others - Engaging external stakeholders such as county governments and relevant professional bodiesUpdating executive leadership on programs performance - Overall team management Show less
